Therapy can be helpful for navigating and understanding the intricacies of life. Whether you are entering a difficult season, wanting to connect and know your true self, or needing help to find a new perspective, therapy can be a remarkable journey of self-discovery and connection. In our sessions, you'll find a non-judgmental therapeutic environment where you are safe to be authentic, honest, and open.
For couples, therapy can be used to support the natural ebb and flow of relationships. Couples therapy is an opportunity to re-establish connection, learn communication skills, and begin to develop a deeper sense of knowing your partner. With a focus on emotion, we will co-create a space that values practicing empathy, vulnerability, seeking new perspectives, and listening skills. I act as a compassionate ally for both you and your partner as you navigate the journey of your relationship.
Whether you are an individual, a couple, or a family seeking support, my approach honors your unique needs and circumstances by meeting you where you are. Here, we will cultivate a relationship built on trust, allowing you to explore your inner world, heal from past wounds, and strengthen your connections with others. By ensuring that your life story is at the heart of our work together, we will create a holistic and affirming therapeutic experience.
My educational journey began at Oberlin College, where I pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology. I further honed my skills and knowledge at Seattle University, earning a Masters in Couples and Family Therapy, which laid the groundwork for my work in systemic therapy. Before stepping into the world of counseling, I immersed myself in reproductive health, working as a medical assistant, doula, and patient advocate. This experience enriched my understanding of life's transitions and the power of support and connection.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me exploring the vibrant city of Seattle with my beloved dog, soaking in the energy of live music, or enjoying heartfelt moments cooking with my friends and family.

Way to go; you have already made the first step towards a change in your circumstances!
They say "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step" and I'm struck by your courage in even beginning the road to health and emotional support. As a therapist, my goal is to create a supportive, understanding and welcoming environment that fosters each person's unique road to improvement. I place a high value on working to understand where each person has come from, to validate their experiences, and to work next to them towards their goals.
There are a variety of therapeutic orientations, but I adapt my professional skills and
knowledge in order to best fit your particular needs. I see each client as the expert of their own life and in the therapeutic relationship, you will have someone to walk alongside you to help discover those often elusive solutions.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from California State University Monterey Bay, and then I went on to pursue my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Central Washington University. I am originally from Colorado, I was a collegiate volleyball player and I have always loved the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, taking my dog on walks, and doing puzzles.

I am a creative therapist and a passionate advocate for relational health. From a systems perspective, I believe that we all exist within the context of our meaningful relationships. With this lens, we consider how past experiences and current attachments set the emotional tone for your daily life. Good therapy looks radically different for each person, but it always starts with carving out an hour in your routine to make time for yourself, to reflect, to share, and to explore your inner landscape. I am here to partner alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's inevitable highs and lows. I meet my clients where they are, highlight their unique inner resources and strengths, and collaborate with them as they traverse their individualized therapeutic goals.
In addition to compassionate, person-centered talk therapy, I am a trained art therapist. I can provide a wide array of visual and expressive tools to help strengthen your creative voice and find deeper meaning through imagery and metaphor. You don't have to have any special skills or talent, and you don’t have to be a self-proclaimed artist to enjoy the benefits of creative expression. Research shows that simply playing with art materials can significantly reduce stress hormones and help people express themselves in the face of exhaustion, anxiety, or trauma. If you'd like to work together but aren't sure about using art, no worries! Therapy is an individualized journey and we will cater our work together to fit your specific goals!
I'm originally from Denver, and I made my way to Seattle in 2010. Previously I worked in horticulture, gardening, and floral design. I currently maintain a studio art practice in my spare time and love to create large-scale murals. I still draw inspiration from my gardening roots and believe we can learn a lot about our own emotional cycles from the natural world. I genuinely look forward to meeting new clients and learning from each individual's unique perspective as we form a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Being a human is hard. Coming to counseling takes courage. Let’s start this new chapter of your life together.
I believe in providing genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment for you to experience insight and growth. Empowerment is also an essential part of my counseling philosophy; through working together, I hope we can access the power that you have within yourself to rise against your problems. I use an integrationist approach, with a focus on narrative and cognitive-behavioral theories. This means that the process of examining personal stories and separating yourself from the problem, along with analyzing and reauthoring thoughts and behaviors are important parts of how I do counseling.
I am from Oregon, currently residing in Ellensburg, Washington. I have a BS in Psychology with a minor in writing and moved to Washington to obtain my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I completed my practicum at Central Washington University. I love writing, playing various tabletop and video games, watching Netflix, and hanging out with my cat!

The path to healing is not one-size-fits-all or linear. Regardless of who you are, we're all out here just trying to be human. The decision to seek help is not an easy one, but my calling is to make the process feel safe, approachable, and welcomed. My goal is to be your mirror and witness to your story. I hope to create a collaborative and safe space to address your needs, achieve your goals, and bring peace and contentment to your whole self.
I believe optimal wellness is an individual human right, and strive to include a social justice mindset to everything I do, whether it be in the counselor's chair or in the community. I hope to be your counselor-advocate, helping you navigate your journey to optimal wellness.
I have a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation and minor in Psychology from Western Washington University. My path has led me to complete my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. I have completed Person-of-the-Therapist training, as well as a certificate in Trauma Counseling. I am a queer, second-generation Filipinx-American, and I hope to reflect experiences that have been underrepresented in the mental health field. Researching service delivery to bridge the gap between the mental health field and communities of color is a professional aspiration of mine.
In my free time, I like spending quality time with my wife, exploring dairy and egg-free recipes and allergy-conscious restaurants in the city. I love listening to good music and watching all the binge-worthy dramas and horror movies.

As we all try to navigate life’s highs and lows, I believe it is important to remember that we don’t have to do it alone. I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage, and it takes a brave person to reach out for help. I strive to foster a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your whole self.
I work with individuals, couples and families. I believe in looking at a person from a holistic point of view to ensure that you have the opportunity to share your full unique story. I provide a therapeutic experience that allows you to share your story with me as I help to guide and support you through that process. I use several different modalities depending on what is best for you and your goals in therapy.
For teens, I strive to provide a space where they feel comfortable to explore themselves as they navigate new transitions in their life like school, relationships, family, independence, and values and beliefs. I believe it is important to meet teens where they are at and provide a space where they feel like they can be their true authentic selves. It’s important for me to help teens to identify their own strengths and feel confident in their identity and who they are.
I completed my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Utah State University. I furthered my education at Seattle University, earning my Masters in Couples and Family Therapy. Before continuing my education at Seattle University I worked in the mental health field with teenagers where I developed my passion for becoming a therapist.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and planning my next road trip.

Hello, and welcome! Counseling and therapy can be a confusing and sometimes overwhelming place, and you should be proud of yourself for taking the steps to get here. No Stress No Stigma is an amazing practice wherein individuals of all backgrounds are welcome, and we value your mental health and wellbeing.
I work with individuals from a Person-Centered approach wherein I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and the ability to increase self-acceptance and self-expression. I utilize narrative therapy by collaboratively exploring my clients' life stories, helping them uncover and reframe problematic narratives, and empowering them to rewrite their story in a way that aligns with their values and aspirations. Through this process, clients gain insights into their strengths, resilience, and possibilities for change, fostering a sense of agency and hope in their journey towards healing and personal growth.
I completed my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of Washington. My passion for psychology and human connection led me to pursue my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Trauma Counseling at Antioch University. I have also spent time outside of school working with neurodiverse populations at a neuropsychology clinic. Through all of these experiences, I have learned to prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on empathy, authenticity, and non-judgmental support, recognizing it as the cornerstone for meaningful change and growth. I aim to empower clients to navigate life's challenges, cultivate resilience, and move towards a more fulfilling sense of wellbeing and personal fulfillment.
Outside of work, I spend my spare time in nature. Whether that be snowboarding in the winter or hiking and camping during summer. I love spending time with family, friends, and my dog. Being a part of any community of people with similar interests and passions is a place where I want to be.
