I am a creative therapist and a passionate advocate for relational health. From a systems perspective, I believe that we all exist within the context of our meaningful relationships. With this lens, we consider how past experiences and current attachments set the emotional tone for your daily life. Good therapy looks radically different for each person, but it always starts with carving out an hour in your routine to make time for yourself, to reflect, to share, and to explore your inner landscape. I am here to partner alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's inevitable highs and lows. I meet my clients where they are, highlight their unique inner resources and strengths, and collaborate with them as they traverse their individualized therapeutic goals.
In addition to compassionate, person-centered talk therapy, I am a trained art therapist. I can provide a wide array of visual and expressive tools to help strengthen your creative voice and find deeper meaning through imagery and metaphor. You don't have to have any special skills or talent, and you don’t have to be a self-proclaimed artist to enjoy the benefits of creative expression. Research shows that simply playing with art materials can significantly reduce stress hormones and help people express themselves in the face of exhaustion, anxiety, or trauma. If you'd like to work together but aren't sure about using art, no worries! Therapy is an individualized journey and we will cater our work together to fit your specific goals!
I'm originally from Denver, and I made my way to Seattle in 2010. Previously I worked in horticulture, gardening, and floral design. I currently maintain a studio art practice in my spare time and love to create large-scale murals. I still draw inspiration from my gardening roots and believe we can learn a lot about our own emotional cycles from the natural world. I genuinely look forward to meeting new clients and learning from each individual's unique perspective as we form a supportive therapeutic alliance.Jamie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate #MG61371636, supervised by Cory Applegate, M.S LMFT #LF60682772

As we all try to navigate life’s highs and lows, I believe it is important to remember that we don’t have to do it alone. I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage, and it takes a brave person to reach out for help. I strive to foster a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your whole self.
I work with individuals, couples and families. I believe in looking at a person from a holistic point of view to ensure that you have the opportunity to share your full unique story. I provide a therapeutic experience that allows you to share your story with me as I help to guide and support you through that process. I use several different modalities depending on what is best for you and your goals in therapy. For teens, I strive to provide a space where they feel comfortable to explore themselves as they navigate new transitions in their life like school, relationships, family, independence, and values and beliefs. I believe it is important to meet teens where they are at and provide a space where they feel like they can be their true authentic selves. It’s important for me to help teens to identify their own strengths and feel confident in their identity and who they are.
I completed my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Utah State University. I furthered my education at Seattle University, earning my Masters in Couples and Family Therapy. Before continuing my education at Seattle University I worked in the mental health field with teenagers where I developed my passion for becoming a therapist.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and planning my next road trip.

Hey, y'all, I'm Marisol, and I am ecstatic to be here. My goal as a mental health practitioner is to provide clients with a space where they feel safe enough to heal while empowering them to grow and learn what they are capable of. I seek to deliver empathetic understanding and honest reflection in a compassionate and logical approach. I specialize in mindfulness, meditation and helping people develop and implement self-care plans. My most profound belief is that we cannot take care of others if we are not taking care of ourselves.
My first academic loves were Chemistry and Nutrition, and via a convoluted and winding path, they led me to Mental Health Counseling. I earned my bachelor's degree in human environmental science with a minor in food and nutrition from The University of Alabama. My path led me to the Middle East, around the United States, and eventually to South America as a Stress Management Coach for a private school community. From there, I found counseling and decided to finish my Master's. I am completing my clinical mental health counseling master's with the University of West Alabama. I live in Poulsbo, Washington, with my husband of 26 years, my two nonbinary kids, our two boxers, and Mefistofeles, the one-eyed cat. We are a genuinely goofy bunch who enjoy cooking, gaming, and live-action-role-playing together.

My approach to therapy is dynamic, authentic, warm, and honest. I use a collaborative and non-judgmental approach with my clients to support them in discovering their goals for therapy, finding new perspectives, and disrupting harmful patterns that may be showing up. I draw from a number of theoretical orientations and tailor my approach to each individual but am inherently person-centered and strengths-based.
In addition to holding a dual bachelor’s degree in Public Health and English from the University of Washington, I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. I bring a diverse background to my work as a clinician; from volunteering with young adults experiencing homelessness, to my work at UW Medicine where I’ve supported mental health interventions for high school students across Washington State and provided support to cancer patients undergoing major surgeries. Through these experiences, I have seen firsthand the lasting impact of compassionate and person-centered care.
I believe there is profound power in the therapeutic relationship to create space for individuals, couples, and families to cultivate authenticity, vulnerability, and intentional risk taking. I am dedicated to creating a safe space for clients of all different identities and backgrounds to feel safe and supported in processing their experiences. I commend you in taking this step and hope to work with you!

Hi! I can’t wait to meet you and get to know you!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus in Child and Adolescent Psychology from National University. My love for psychology began when I took an AP Psychology course in high school. I was fascinated with how the mind worked, human behavior, and how people interacted with each other. I was actually originally pursuing an MD to become a Pediatric Psychiatrist. As I went through the 2 Years I spent in medical school, I soon realized that the band-aid solutions provided in the medical field didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to treat the root cause and I knew at that moment that medicine wasn’t the route for me.. Right after I left medical school, I immediately began applying to MFT Master’s programs so that I could help people by conducting therapy and viewing clients from a holistic approach. Additionally I am a Punjabi Sikh female, and there is also a huge stigma around mental health in my culture. This drives my want to give back to and help my community. I’m also a kind, outgoing person who loves connecting with others and hearing what their stories are in a way that makes them feel seen, heard and not judged.
I am all about therapy being person-centered and I am most interested in conducting therapy with a narrative approach. I believe that this approach is helpful in helping others see how there are positives in life despite what hardships they may be experiencing. The journey to healing is a beautiful thing and our stories can be re-written to aid in our healing.

My goal is to help clients realize a sense of agency that allows them to gain control of their lives. I strongly believe that the counselor's role is one that walks beside their client as opposed to leading; I want to work collaboratively with you. My practice is focused on providing a judgement- and bias-free environment, so you feel safe to be vulnerable.
I am currently pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling at Bellevue University. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina but am from the Carolinas in the United States, so I speak English and Spanish. I love spending time and being active outdoors in the mountains, food, live music, and my Boston terrier.
After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in my early twenties, I embarked on a transformative journey of personal growth, taking ownership of my health and life. This experience, along with over a decade of living on two continents, shapes my empathy, resilience, and cultural sensitivity as a counselor. I am excited to be working with No Stress No Stigma, a virtual practice, as I am passionate about expanding access to mental health care.

I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to counseling that starts with unconditional positive regard and a person-centered therapy approach to better understand my clients. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship where empathy, genuine curiosity, and collaboration are at the forefront. My approach integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Feminist Therapy Approach, and mindfulness-based and psychoeducation techniques—to tailor our work to your unique needs. My goal is to support you in creating a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and true to yourself.
Although I feel a particular connection working with neurodivergent adolescents and adults, those who have past-experiences of trauma or abuse, and individuals who wish to explore issues through a Feminist Therapy lens, I value and honor the diversity of my clients and appreciate working with anyone that feels I could be beneficial in their healing journey. I aim to cultivate an open, nonjudgmental space where nothing is off-limits—whatever you’re experiencing or struggling with, I’m here to listen and support you with an open mind.
As a counselor, I am continuously striving to expand my cultural awareness and knowledge to ensure that I can best serve each individual I work with. My hope is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered as you work toward your therapy goals.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and will be graduating in mid 2025 with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from WNMU. My passion for mental health and personal growth drives my work with clients. When I am not studying or reading to expand my mental health knowledge, I enjoy spending time with my family and engaging in self-care activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, spending time outdoors in the sunshine or a good day of relaxation watching my comfort shows on the couch with my dog and cats. I also enjoy combining my love of traveling and music by going to concerts in new places as often as I can!
I’m happy you’re here and look forward to being a part of your personal growth and healing journey.

Being a human is hard. Coming to counseling takes courage. Let’s start this new chapter of your life together.
I believe in providing genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment for you to experience insight and growth. Empowerment is also an essential part of my counseling philosophy; through working together, I hope we can access the power that you have within yourself to rise against your problems. I use an integrationist approach, with a focus on narrative and cognitive-behavioral theories. This means that the process of examining personal stories and separating yourself from the problem, along with analyzing and reauthoring thoughts and behaviors are important parts of how I do counseling.
I am from Oregon, currently residing in Ellensburg, Washington. I have a BS in Psychology with a minor in writing and moved to Washington to obtain my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I completed my practicum at Central Washington University. I love writing, playing various tabletop and video games, watching Netflix, and hanging out with my cat!

As a former teacher, I draw from a philosophy that mirrors education. Similar to education, there is no one-size-fits-all approach in therapy, with every person bringing their own authenticity and individualized life contexts. I tailor therapy to meet you where you are and find opportunities to incorporate play for deeper healing and exploration of self. My goal is to help you build your coping mechanisms with tangible tools, all while leading with curiosity, kindness, and compassion. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my job is to create a safe space where you can explore your strengths, challenge yourself, and develop the skills needed for you to thrive.I am committed to a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that helps you achieve your goals, providing a space where you can feel validated while gently pushed to grow in new ways. I aim to offer the resources and support necessary for you to move through and beyond your comfort zones. Healing is not linear, but I deeply believe that growth and change happen when one puts their heart and mind to their goals. I look forward to walking alongside you and empowering you in your journey.
Outside of therapy, I have a great love for the outdoors and adventure! I love to hike, bike, camp, paddleboard, kayak, and, of course, hang out with dogs and friends as often as I can. During the rainy months, I love doing ceramics and getting creative in the kitchen, stirring up new recipes. Lastly, I am an avid women’s sports fan and find constant inspiration in the collective spirit, intersectionality, and camaraderie surrounding women’s sports.

Hi! I’m Kacy, and I’m so glad you’re here. Pursuing therapy can be a tough decision for many reasons, and I’m proud of you for taking this first courageous step to living a happier life.
Being a human in today’s world can be really hard, and sometimes our relationships, careers, and society can be tough to navigate. We often feel like we’re not being heard or can’t quite articulate what’s wrong or how to get better. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, isolated, or like you just can’t seem to catch up or fit in, I want you to know you’re not alone. I am honored to listen to your story and incorporate your experiences, culture and perspective into the therapy process.
I prioritize providing a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to let it all out. Using compassion, curiosity and humor, I’m committed to work alongside you as we figure out what it means to be yourself. Working together, we can identify the roadblocks to happiness, clarify your goals, and find solutions to help you live authentically and build the skills and confidence to handle life’s challenges.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University after feeling lost and changing my major many times. After spending 8 years as a military wife and mother to two small children, I finally learned the source of my own mental health struggles when I was late diagnosed as Autistic with ADHD. My own counseling experience inspired me to join this community as a passionate advocate for understanding your true self and living as authentically as possible. I am now a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Bellevue University and I am so excited to be on this journey.
When I’m not focused on mental healthcare, I feel most at home when I’m outdoors with my family doing things like crabbing, hiking, mushroom-foraging, and fossil hunting. Together, we raise chickens and rabbits, and I relax in my flower and veggie garden. I also love to cook, read a good book, and travel, finding good food along the way.
Thank you for being here, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon.

With a focus on emotion, we will co-create a space that values practicing empathy, vulnerability, seeking new perspectives, and listening skills. I act as a compassionate ally for both you and your partner as you navigate the journey of your relationship.
Whether you are an individual, a couple, or a family seeking support, my approach honors your unique needs and circumstances by meeting you where you are. Here, we will cultivate a relationship built on trust, allowing you to explore your inner world, heal from past wounds, and strengthen your connections with others. By ensuring that your life story is at the heart of our work together, we will create a holistic and affirming therapeutic experience.
My educational journey began at Oberlin College, where I pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology. I further honed my skills and knowledge at Seattle University, earning a Masters in Couples and Family Therapy, which laid the groundwork for my work in systemic therapy. Before stepping into the world of counseling, I immersed myself in reproductive health, working as a medical assistant, doula, and patient advocate. This experience enriched my understanding of life's transitions and the power of support and connection.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me exploring the vibrant city of Seattle with my beloved dog, soaking in the energy of live music, or enjoying heartfelt moments cooking with my friends and family.

Way to go; you have already made the first step towards a change in your circumstances!
They say "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step" and I'm struck by your courage in even beginning the road to health and emotional support. As a therapist, my goal is to create a supportive, understanding and welcoming environment that fosters each person's unique road to improvement. I place a high value on working to understand where each person has come from, to validate their experiences, and to work next to them towards their goals. There are a variety of therapeutic orientations, but I adapt my professional skills and
knowledge in order to best fit your particular needs. I see each client as the expert of their own life and in the therapeutic relationship, you will have someone to walk alongside you to help discover those often elusive solutions.I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from California State University Monterey Bay, and then I went on to pursue my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Central Washington University. I am originally from Colorado, I was a collegiate volleyball player and I have always loved the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, taking my dog on walks, and doing puzzles.

There is no such thing as normal life- there is just life. It is up to us to define what life is like for us now and how we want life to be. We will differentiate wants from needs, address issues that lack understanding, and realign our goals for the betterment of oneself, lifestyle, and overall mental health. How you feel matters and will always resonate with you. Creating different techniques to help you externalize issues, understand your core self, and disrupt unhealthy patterns will help to transform you, your family, and your outlook on life as you see it. Let's work together to create the best impeccable version of yourself.I work with clients who may be struggling to deal with a variable of stressors, trauma, and circumstance in relation to the past and the present. Together we will candidly identify what are the root causes of the issue(s) at hand and curate an action plan. We will evaluate these issues to develop techniques and healthy coping patterns to reach a better quality of life, mental and emotional wellness, and healing.
I often use the Structural or Cognitive Family Therapy model in my practice alongside many others. In our initial session we'll explore your reasons for coming to therapy and agree on the most effective way to assist with your concerns.Using the tools available to us we will investigate how your experiences are connected and affect your cognitive thinking and mental processing. I will help you learn strategies to ground yourself and change your feelings and outlook. Often times we know what needs to be done, we just need discernment and a little guidance. As we build a rapport with one another we can learn which strategies work best to help elevate and reinvent the best version of you yet.

My family migrated to Honolulu HI from Australia, and I am currently bridging US clinical qualifications as an intern with NSNS under supervison. I have 35 years of women’s health education and counseling experience, and hold credentials in acute stress management, sexology, and PTSD, with an emphasis on women regaining their personal and relationship confidence after past child or adult abuse.
I provide a safe space for clients to find themselves again. Gently working together as a team, a therapy plan that considers all of who you are is our collaborative aim. Some like to sit in silence and take time to feel comfortable. Others work towards reintegration via practical self-help skills, exposure therapy, or role play.
My mantra is “no matter who you are, where you are from, or what your story, you will be cared for”. Let’s cry together, laugh together, and move you forward on your journey. Everyone is welcome.

My journey into psychology began with a fascination for how individuals interact within their social and cultural contexts, leading to specialized training in systems theories. This approach allows me to explore not only individual issues but also their systemic roots, fostering holistic healing and growth.
Recognizing the profound impact of emotions on mental health, I integrates emotion-focused therapy techniques into practice. This approach empowers clients to understand and transform their emotional experiences, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
Cultural attunement is at the heart of my practice, informed by a deep respect for diversity and a belief in the importance of cultural context in therapy. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel understood and valued.
Outside of psychology, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that enrich life and inform therapeutic practice. I find joy in experimenting with new recipes and techniques, believing that creativity in cooking mirrors the process of personal growth and exploration in therapy. Crafting also holds a special place in my heart, with a talent for creating handmade items that reflect patience, attention to detail, and the therapeutic value of mindful creativity.
When not in the therapy room, I can often be found enjoying movies, recognizing the power of storytelling to inspire empathy and understanding in both therapists and clients alike.

I believe in the transformational power of the therapeutic relationship. We all face overwhelming or confusing times in our lives, where we may feel like we can’t catch a break, or that no one understands what we’re going through. Sometimes we just need support to think over big decisions. Whatever the circumstances, having someone on our side while we explore our thoughts, feelings, and needs can make all the difference.
Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all intervention; each person has their own path to walk, and their own unique set of values and beliefs to guide them. My role as a counselor is not to judge or direct, but rather to notice what is attempting to unfold in a person’s life, and to support the client as that process takes place.
My approach to therapy is highly relational, informed by my education in existential, narrative, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches. I can offer parts work, narrative exploration, and attachment-based frameworks in our sessions. Guided by my deep belief in the somatic and spiritual aspects of mental health, I have also begun exploring Jungian psychology and invite your dreams, visions, and impulses into the therapy room as well.
I have experience treating conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as working with neurodiverse populations, people with disabilities, aging populations, and adult survivors of interpersonal violence. I am passionate about issues of culture, racial justice, sexuality, gender, non-traditional relationships, and kink exploration, as well as supporting clients who have experienced spiritual or religious trauma.
If this sounds like a fit, I look forward to hearing from you.

My approach to therapy is open-minded, collaborative, inclusive, warm, and authentic. I encourage my clients to show up as their authentic selves with the intention to form a trusting therapeutic relationship with them. I aim to walk alongside my clients in their journeys- healing, pattern-breaking, exploration of self, relationship issues, or whatever their journey may look like. I pull from many theoretical orientations and personally tailor my approach to each individual client, as therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I find value in community, connection, and laughter in my daily life and believe these values to be vital in therapy as well.
I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in psychology and a minor in English. (Go tigers!) I then moved 3,000 miles cross country and am now a third-year master of education in clinical mental health counseling student at Seattle University and intern at No Stress No Stigma. De-stigmatizing mental health has been a long-time passion of mine, now turned career. My own journey has influenced my career choice - as I have experienced firsthand the positive impacts of therapy.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy being in the sun (Seattle winters have been a bit of an adjustment,) being out on the water as much as I can, spending time with my friends, snuggling with my cat, Peppy, cooking new recipes, and reading a good book!
