My family migrated to Honolulu HI from Australia, and I am currently bridging US clinical qualifications under supervision . I have 35 years of counseling experience, and hold credentials in acute stress management, sexology, and PTSD. I have specialized experience with women regaining their personal and relationship confidence after past child or adult abuse.
I provide a safe space for clients to find themselves again. Gently working together as a team, a therapy plan that considers all of who you are is our collaborative aim. Some like to sit in silence and take time to feel comfortable. Others work towards reintegration via practical self-help skills, exposure therapy, or role play.
My mantra is “no matter who you are, where you are from, or what your story, you will be cared for”. Let’s cry together, laugh together, and move you forward on your journey. Everyone is welcome.

My therapeutic style is warm, curious, collaborative, and interactive. I take a person-centered, strengths-based, holistic approach to therapy, understanding that no one exists in a vacuum. I will work with you to understand how all the systems (family, work, & societal) you interact with throughout life impact you. As I walk alongside you on your growth and healing journey, I will also look for little ways to find laughter and joy amongst any pain and truth.
As a former teacher, I draw from a philosophy that mirrors education. Similar to education, there is no one-size-fits-all approach in therapy, with every person bringing their own authenticity and individualized life contexts. I tailor therapy to meet you where you are and find opportunities to incorporate play for deeper healing and exploration of self. My goal is to help you build your coping mechanisms with tangible tools, all while leading with curiosity, kindness, and compassion. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my job is to create a safe space where you can explore your strengths, challenge yourself, and develop the skills needed for you to thrive.I am committed to a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that helps you achieve your goals, providing a space where you can feel validated while gently pushed to grow in new ways. I aim to offer the resources and support necessary for you to move through and beyond your comfort zones. Healing is not linear, but I deeply believe that growth and change happen when one puts their heart and mind to their goals. I look forward to walking alongside you and empowering you in your journey.
Outside of therapy, I have a great love for the outdoors and adventure! I love to hike, bike, camp, paddleboard, kayak, and, of course, hang out with dogs and friends as often as I can. During the rainy months, I love doing ceramics and getting creative in the kitchen, stirring up new recipes. Lastly, I am an avid women’s sports fan and find constant inspiration in the collective spirit, intersectionality, and camaraderie surrounding women’s sports.

Hi! I’m Kacy, and I’m so glad you’re here. Pursuing therapy can be a tough decision for many reasons, and I’m proud of you for taking this first courageous step to living a happier life.
Being a human in today’s world can be really hard, and sometimes our relationships, careers, and society can be tough to navigate. We often feel like we’re not being heard or can’t quite articulate what’s wrong or how to get better. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, isolated, or like you just can’t seem to catch up or fit in, I want you to know you’re not alone. I am honored to listen to your story and incorporate your experiences, culture and perspective into the therapy process.
I prioritize providing a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to let it all out. Using compassion, curiosity and humor, I’m committed to work alongside you as we figure out what it means to be yourself. Working together, we can identify the roadblocks to happiness, clarify your goals, and find solutions to help you live authentically and build the skills and confidence to handle life’s challenges.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington State University after feeling lost and changing my major many times. After spending 8 years as a military wife and mother to two small children, I finally learned the source of my own mental health struggles when I was late diagnosed as Autistic with ADHD. My own counseling experience inspired me to join this community as a passionate advocate for understanding your true self and living as authentically as possible. I am now a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Bellevue University and I am so excited to be on this journey.
When I’m not focused on mental healthcare, I feel most at home when I’m outdoors with my family doing things like crabbing, hiking, mushroom-foraging, and fossil hunting. Together, we raise chickens and rabbits, and I relax in my flower and veggie garden. I also love to cook, read a good book, and travel, finding good food along the way.
Thank you for being here, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon.

Hey, y'all, I'm Marisol, and I am ecstatic to be here. My goal as a mental health practitioner is to provide clients with a space where they feel safe enough to heal while empowering them to grow and learn what they are capable of. I seek to deliver empathetic understanding and honest reflection in a compassionate and logical approach. I specialize in mindfulness, meditation and helping people develop and implement self-care plans. My most profound belief is that we cannot take care of others if we are not taking care of ourselves.
My first academic loves were Chemistry and Nutrition, and via a convoluted and winding path, they led me to Mental Health Counseling. I earned my bachelor's degree in human environmental science with a minor in food and nutrition from The University of Alabama. My path led me to the Middle East, around the United States, and eventually to South America as a Stress Management Coach for a private school community. From there, I found counseling and decided to finish my Master's. I am completing my clinical mental health counseling master's with the University of West Alabama. I live in Poulsbo, Washington, with my husband of 26 years, my two nonbinary kids, our two boxers, and Mefistofeles, the one-eyed cat. We are a genuinely goofy bunch who enjoy cooking, gaming, and live-action-role-playing together.
Marisol is a Capella University Masters Level Candidate Graduate Student Intern supervised by Cory Applegate, M.S LMFT #LF60682772 of Equilibrium.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and am pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Initially, I started out as an assistant in psychometrics but realized that I want to work directly with people. I left the research field to pursue education and experiences that would allow me to serve others directly, and I look forward to working together to start your therapeutic journey. I love connecting with others and hearing their stories without judgment, and I wish to help them find the path to healing that will work specifically for them.
I operate largely from a person-centered position in my work with clients and adapt my methods as needed. I recognize that everyone is unique and possesses their own special needs and preferences, and that is okay. I am here to walk alongside you and explore the various paths to healing and wellness.

My journey into psychology began with a fascination for how individuals interact within their social and cultural contexts, leading to specialized training in systems theories. This approach allows me to explore not only individual issues but also their systemic roots, fostering holistic healing and growth.
Recognizing the profound impact of emotions on mental health, I integrates emotion-focused therapy techniques into practice. This approach empowers clients to understand and transform their emotional experiences, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
Cultural attunement is at the heart of my practice, informed by a deep respect for diversity and a belief in the importance of cultural context in therapy. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel understood and valued.
Outside of psychology, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that enrich life and inform therapeutic practice. I find joy in experimenting with new recipes and techniques, believing that creativity in cooking mirrors the process of personal growth and exploration in therapy. Crafting also holds a special place in my heart, with a talent for creating handmade items that reflect patience, attention to detail, and the therapeutic value of mindful creativity.
When not in the therapy room, I can often be found enjoying movies, recognizing the power of storytelling to inspire empathy and understanding in both therapists and clients alike.

My approach to therapy is open-minded, collaborative, inclusive, warm, and authentic. I encourage my clients to show up as their authentic selves with the intention to form a trusting therapeutic relationship with them. I aim to walk alongside my clients in their journeys- healing, pattern-breaking, exploration of self, relationship issues, or whatever their journey may look like. I pull from many theoretical orientations and personally tailor my approach to each individual client, as therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I find value in community, connection, and laughter in my daily life and believe these values to be vital in therapy as well.
I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in psychology and a minor in English. (Go tigers!) I then moved 3,000 miles cross country and am now a third-year master of education in clinical mental health counseling student at Seattle University and intern at No Stress No Stigma. De-stigmatizing mental health has been a long-time passion of mine, now turned career. My own journey has influenced my career choice - as I have experienced firsthand the positive impacts of therapy.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy being in the sun (Seattle winters have been a bit of an adjustment,) being out on the water as much as I can, spending time with my friends, snuggling with my cat, Peppy, cooking new recipes, and reading a good book!

Hi! I can’t wait to meet you and get to know you!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus in Child and Adolescent Psychology from National University. My love for psychology began when I took an AP Psychology course in high school. I was fascinated with how the mind worked, human behavior, and how people interacted with each other. I was actually originally pursuing an MD to become a Pediatric Psychiatrist. As I went through the 2 Years I spent in medical school, I soon realized that the band-aid solutions provided in the medical field didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to treat the root cause and I knew at that moment that medicine wasn’t the route for me.. Right after I left medical school, I immediately began applying to MFT Master’s programs so that I could help people by conducting therapy and viewing clients from a holistic approach. Additionally I am a Punjabi Sikh female, and there is also a huge stigma around mental health in my culture. This drives my want to give back to and help my community. I’m also a kind, outgoing person who loves connecting with others and hearing what their stories are in a way that makes them feel seen, heard and not judged.
I am all about therapy being person-centered and I am most interested in conducting therapy with a narrative approach. I believe that this approach is helpful in helping others see how there are positives in life despite what hardships they may be experiencing. The journey to healing is a beautiful thing and our stories can be re-written to aid in our healing.

I have a BA in Biology and an MBA in healthcare management. Initially, I worked in various healthcare settings. In each of my jobs, my highlights were my empathy and relatability.
Eventually, I realized I must rediscover where to employ my strengths better. So, I volunteered at the crisis text line and then worked as a team leader in the 988 - suicide prevention line, where I was recognized for my passion for therapy and counseling. In addition, I guided clients through grief, loss, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, bipolar, schizophrenia, autism, ODD, and OCD in work outside of therapeutic sessions.
I have experience working with all ages in different capacities, such as school settings, crisis services, nonprofit organizations, residential settings, and inpatient mental health centers.
When you meet me, you will find that I am warm, compassionate, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I am described as a person who handles sensitive matters with care and ease where no topic is taboo. My therapy method is respectful, personable, open, knowledgeable, and humorous in my sessions. All faiths, or lack thereof, are welcome. With a strong spiritual focus, I can help people seeking a more spiritual relationship with themselves and their higher power/higher calling. My therapeutic approach involves collaborating with clients to identify and enlist their strengths or resources to improve their quality of life.
I expect to complete my LMFTA by the end of 2024 while a member of AAMFT and the International Honor Society of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am trained in various modalities such as systemic family therapy, Gottman, Internal Family Systems Model (IFS), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and experiential therapy. I enjoy helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges, whether personal, with couples, with family, or with peers. I have personal multicultural experience and am bilingual. I canconduct assessments both in Arabic and English. Moreover, I have specialized training in Group Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention, and I am a Certified Behavioral Technician (CBT) through the DOH in Washington. Wisdom is a value I utilize in my interventions, and I hope to bring a light that brightly but softly shines with guidance in a time of need.

Hello! My name is Leslie, and I'm so glad you are here. I am deeply committed to promoting mental health and well-being through evidence-based practices. My focus is on helping clients develop the necessary skills to navigate life's stressors. Known for my non-judgmental, empathetic, and person-centered approach, I create a safe space for personal growth and healing. I am dedicated to guiding individuals toward resilience and self-discovery, empowering them to build a foundation of mental strength and balance.
My mental health counseling journey is a winding one. After graduating from WSU with an undergraduate degree in psychology, I began graduate school for clinical mental health counseling but took some time off to focus on my four young children. During this time, I received a graduate degree in education from the University of Washington and began work as a high school math and science teacher. In January of 2022, I lost my 13 year old son. I always knew I would return to the world of mental health counseling; losing my son prompted me to find meaning in the world by helping others.
I am in the process of completing my clinical mental health counseling master's through Wake Forest University. I live in Gig Harbor, Washington, with my husband, kids, and many animals, and enjoy walking and biking in our beautiful area.
Leslie is a graduate student intern supervised by Cory Wilson LMFT, #LF60682772 of Equilibrium.

I believe in the transformational power of the therapeutic relationship. We all face overwhelming or confusing times in our lives, where we may feel like we can’t catch a break, or that no one understands what we’re going through. Sometimes we just need support to think over big decisions. Whatever the circumstances, having someone on our side while we explore our thoughts, feelings, and needs can make all the difference.
Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all intervention; each person has their own path to walk, and their own unique set of values and beliefs to guide them. My role as a counselor is not to judge or direct, but rather to notice what is attempting to unfold in a person’s life, and to support the client as that process takes place.
My approach to therapy is highly relational, informed by my education in existential, narrative, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches. I can offer parts work, narrative exploration, and attachment-based frameworks in our sessions. Guided by my deep belief in the somatic and spiritual aspects of mental health, I have also begun exploring Jungian psychology and invite your dreams, visions, and impulses into the therapy room as well.
I have experience treating conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as working with neurodiverse populations, people with disabilities, aging populations, and adult survivors of interpersonal violence. I am passionate about issues of culture, racial justice, sexuality, gender, non-traditional relationships, and kink exploration, as well as supporting clients who have experienced spiritual or religious trauma.
If this sounds like a fit, I look forward to hearing from you.

I often use the Structural or Cognitive Family Therapy model in my practice alongside many others. My approach to therapy is dynamic, authentic, warm, and honest. I use a collaborative and non-judgmental approach with my clients to support them in discovering their goals for therapy, finding new perspectives, and disrupting harmful patterns that may be showing up. I draw from a number of theoretical orientations and tailor my approach to each individual but am inherently person-centered and strengths-based.
In addition to holding a dual bachelor’s degree in Public Health and English from the University of Washington, I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. I bring a diverse background to my work as a clinician; from volunteering with young adults experiencing homelessness, to my work at UW Medicine where I’ve supported mental health interventions for high school students across Washington State and provided support to cancer patients undergoing major surgeries. Through these experiences, I have seen firsthand the lasting impact of compassionate and person-centered care.
I believe there is profound power in the therapeutic relationship to create space for individuals, couples, and families to cultivate authenticity, vulnerability, and intentional risk taking. I am dedicated to creating a safe space for clients of all different identities and backgrounds to feel safe and supported in processing their experiences. I commend you in taking this step and hope to work with you!

My goal is to help clients realize a sense of agency that allows them to gain control of their lives. I strongly believe that the counselor's role is one that walks beside their client as opposed to leading; I want to work collaboratively with you. My practice is focused on providing a judgement- and bias-free environment, so you feel safe to be vulnerable.
I am currently pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling at Bellevue University. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina but am from the Carolinas in the United States, so I speak English and Spanish. I love spending time and being active outdoors in the mountains, food, live music, and my Boston terrier.
After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in my early twenties, I embarked on a transformative journey of personal growth, taking ownership of my health and life. This experience, along with over a decade of living on two continents, shapes my empathy, resilience, and cultural sensitivity as a counselor. I am excited to be working with No Stress No Stigma, a virtual practice, as I am passionate about expanding access to mental health care.
