We are pleased to offer specialized treatment for emetophobia, the fear of vomiting.

Emetophobia is a very unique phobia that can not be treated like the majority of other phobias. Utilizing a unique approached created by Amanda Rausch, LMFT, we use a blend of EMDR and CBT to help you go into remission from emetophobia! No exposure therapy is used!

EMDR and Emetophobia Clinicians:

  • I look into different patterns throughout your life to help you understand why you might be feeling or acting a certain way. I help my clients overcome obstacles by looking into and exploring the various components of their lives. I help to foster insight and self-awareness, which can be the first steps towards making a real and lasting change! I work with my clients to alleviate their symptoms as well as find and fix the root of the issue... think of this like not only putting on a Band-Aid but also healing the wound!

Clients have told me I provide a compassionate, empathetic and truthful perspective. I make sure to take the time to get to know and respect the needs and wants of each individual client, and want you to feel comfortable and at ease in therapy.

I am originally from San Diego, then I spent some time experiencing life in the vast and often snow-filled states in the great Mid-West before finally settling down in the crisp air and flannel-loving state of Washington. I enjoy cooking, reading, stand-up-paddle-boarding, and practicing yoga. I would describe myself as a fun, nonjudgmental, positive, and sincere person. I love being a therapist because I love connecting with and helping people. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.
