EMDR and Emetophobia Clinicians:

  • I look into different patterns throughout your life to help you understand why you might be feeling or acting a certain way. I help my clients overcome obstacles by looking into and exploring the various components of their lives. I help to foster insight and self-awareness, which can be the first steps towards making a real and lasting change! I work with my clients to alleviate their symptoms as well as find and fix the root of the issue... think of this like not only putting on a Band-Aid but also healing the wound!

Clients have told me I provide a compassionate, empathetic and truthful perspective. I make sure to take the time to get to know and respect the needs and wants of each individual client, and want you to feel comfortable and at ease in therapy.

I am originally from San Diego, then I spent some time experiencing life in the vast and often snow-filled states in the great Mid-West before finally settling down in the crisp air and flannel-loving state of Washington. I enjoy cooking, reading, stand-up-paddle-boarding, and practicing yoga. I would describe myself as a fun, nonjudgmental, positive, and sincere person. I love being a therapist because I love connecting with and helping people. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.

One of the bravest decisions you can make is to begin to understand your own story. You are a whole person, and I am here to support you in harnessing your most authentic self. In my work as a therapist, I strive to embrace a holistic approach with my clients. Having overcome obstacles in my own life, I value providing an inclusive, down-to-earth space where clients can show up exactly as they are. I like to work collaboratively with my clients to help them connect to their truth and unlock what is blocking them from living the life they want.

I believe every person can change how they move through this world and feel more aligned with their true self. Wherever you are on your journey, you deserve to feel understood and supported.

For over a decade, I have committed my life to learn various therapeutic modalities to support clients. My commitment to my healing journey and desire to support people through some of life's challenging obstacles continues to inspire and inform my work and healing practices. I feel privileged beyond belief that I can help empower, affirm, and support my clients.

I'm from the northwest, passionate about social justice work, LGBTQIA2+ advocacy, and a supporter of Health at Every Size (HAES). I love being an Auntie, animals, traveling, watching documentaries, and spending time with my partner and our two sweet rescue pups.

Thank you for taking a moment to learn about me. I look forward to working with you!

Jaime is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate #MC61248703, supervised by Amanda Rausch, LMFT #60461063.
